DanaSimone is a woman with a purpose on fire! She is a mom, philanthropist, former Illinois TV talk show host, and women empowerment advocate and speaker. DanaSimone is an inspiring woman to many and her main aspiration is to set your heart aflame with joy, strength, passion, determination, wellness, empathy, and love. As a child growing up in Detroit, Michigan, she didn’t dream about fairy tales and unicorns, she stalked the playground on becoming a “Female MasterpieceTM.”
She discovered at the raw age of 18 that her leadership abilities, organization skills and time management acumen were not normal. She’s very focused, deliberate and relentless in her pursuit to empower women and girls. DanaSimone strongly believes that everyone should seek to discover their purpose in life and live out that purpose with gratitude and no excuses. DanaSimone lives her life to learn, grow, build, AND to reach back. And she dares you to do the same!
DanaSimone is a silver-star member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, a 32-year volunteer with the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), an active alumni and former Board of Trustee for a Historically Black College and University (HBCU) Wiley College. For 28 years and counting, DanaSimone works as a bank examiner for a federal regulatory agency. She is also the author of What’s In Your 24? How To Get It Done Without Getting Outdone, a time management and fitness book for women. Her philanthropic, financial literacy, and fitness efforts have been featured in numerous publications and on radio stations such as JET Magazine, Fitness Magazine, and WVON in Chicago.
The Female Masterpiece lives in Aurora, Illinois with her husband (Scott) and daughter (Destiny).
